Phil Moore

David Maskell

David's primary responsibility is Pastoral Care. He oversees the Prayer Counselling ministry to help people overcome difficulties in their lives, and provides oversight for Lifeshapers, Way In, Genesis and the Ruth Group for lone parents. Before joining the full time staff in 2001, David was Head of Water Engineering for an international civil engineering consultancy, and this construction industry background has proved useful for the Coign Church's building development plans. David is married to Tina, with two daughters aged 13 and 10. He also enjoys mountain biking and fly fishing, and has recently taken up the guitar.

Nick Derbridge

Nick Derbridge - Youth Worker

The elders invited Nick to join the Coign staff to lead the youth work in the summer of 2001, and he pretty much said ‘Yes’ on the spot. Nick's biggest highlight of late has been getting married to Zoe, and they would both love to meet you next time you are at the Coign. Nick's vision for the Coign youth is to build a growing community of leaders and young people enjoying Jesus and embracing His purpose for the Church; a worshipping community of God’s people, bringing His life to the world. If you’re between 12 and 18, and you like the sound of that, he'd love you to join in what God is doing amongst the Coign youth!

Cassie Leach

Cassie Schifano - Children's and Schools Work

Cassie joined the staff at The Coign in August 2003 after graduating from St Mary's University that summer. She has worked with children for many years in contexts varying from Rainbows to Health Clubs, and now children are the main focus of her ministry at The Coign. She is involved with Sunday Children’s work and Key Club at the church and works a lot in local schools. She has just got married to the gorgeous Ben and they have just bought a house together in Sheerwater. She plays Hockey for a local team and loves a good film with a cup of tea and a packet of minstrels that have been put in the microwave for a minute. Delicious!!

Alison Santiago

Alison Santiago - Office Manager

Alison has been married for 25 years and has 3 children (twin boys of 24 and a married daughter of 20). She has always worked for well-known and well-respected bodies such as Amnesty International & Westminster Abbey, but says that she has never been happier than her last 8 years at The Coign. She is a trained crisis pregnancy counsellor and works voluntarily within Woking. She is also a member of the infamous Red Hat Society (!) and loves going to the theatre.
