Welcome
If you are new to the Coign then I would like to give you a really big welcome. Part of the calling God has given us as a church is “meeting people’s real needs with God’s real power” and we trust that as you spend time with us that you will meet with God, and experience His power in your own life.
Although we are a good-sized church, there are plenty of opportunities to meet people and to make friends quickly. One of the easiest ways is by joining us for tea or coffee on a Sunday morning after the service, where there is a friendly welcome from one of our Neighbourhood Groups. Another way is by emailing us at welcome@coign.org for us to connect you with your local Neighbourhood Group, a midweek small group near to you which meets in the home of one of our church members.
We encourage people who come to the Coign who have not been actively involved in a church beforehand to sign up for the Alpha course, as a brilliant way to meet new people and get connected into church life, whilst learning more about the Christian faith and how to get to know Jesus more and more deeply. We have a course starting soon, so why not click through to the link and sign up for it?
I hope that your first few weeks at the Coign are really blessed, that you receive a friendly welcome, and that you meet with God. If I haven’t met you yet then do come and introduce yourself to me after the service – I would be really pleased to meet you!
