Creche

We run a crèche for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old every Sunday morning during the service. We have four teams of helpers who run the crèche, made up largely of the parents of the church children of crèche age.

Parents are welcome to leave their children with the team members and we will look after them for you during the service. You can either drop them off between 9:45 and 9:55am before the service begins, or if you prefer to have them with you for some of the worship then you can drop them off when directed at 10:20am.

The crèche is situated in the Griffin Room, just off the main foyer of the HG Wells Centre. The Hosting Team will be happy to show you to the room and to introduce you to the crèche team. We register each child on arrival and give you a card so that only you can pick up your children afterwards. It would be helpful if you could provide your child with their own drink in a toddler cup or baby bottle with their name on it. We will provide biscuits halfway through the crèche time so do please tell us on registering your child if you would prefer your child not to have one or if they have any medical requirements. You can also leave your labelled buggy if your child is likely to get tired and need a sleep.

We have a wide variety of toys available which are all kept in a good, clean condition, and our helpers play with the children. We will also do some craft with the older toddlers, and our aim is that your children will have a brilliant time while you enjoy some spiritual refreshment in the main auditorium.
